Resilience

Resiliency is the ability to cope with expected and unexpected life events; the ability to “roll with the punches” and carry on despite challenges and setbacks (e.g., health problems, unemployment, death of a spouse). Resiliency varies from person to person according to the situation at hand and personal resiliency resources. Two people can experience exactly the same situation but handle it very differently.
